Rachel is an experienced Legal Executive having qualified in 1997 and specialises
in a wide range of cases including road traffic accidents, accidents at work,
occupier's liability, public liability, cases involving animals and child claims.
She has had involvement in head injury and spinal injury cases and has dealt
with clients who have developed psychological or psychiatric injury as a result
of accidents, including those with some form of chronic pain.
Rachel has been with Metcalfes for over 21 years and it was with our firm that she
worked towards qualifying as a Legal Executive. Rachel has in the past spent 4 years
in Insurance Litigation, again dealing with personal injury work but from the Defendant
perspective. This invaluable experience enables her to view cases from both sides
of the coin, and thus assess how a case is likely to be seen and approached by an opponent.
Recent cases:
- Rachel successfully negotiated £178,826.31 for a Claimant who was involved in a road traffic accident when she was run over by a vehicle reversing the wrong way along a one way street.
- Obtained a settlement of £80,000 in a road traffic case.
