Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and joined Metcalfes in 2010, specialising
in Personal Injury. Her caseload includes accidents at work, defective premise
claims, product liability claims and road traffic accidents. Rachel also has a
particular interest in Occupiers Liability claims, accidents abroad and accidents
involving children.
Prior to qualification Rachel spent a number of years working as a claims handler
for an international firm defending claims against large retail clients. Rachel
has also spent time pursuing claims on behalf of trade union members. This broad
range of experience allows Rachel to consider claims in analytical manner and provide
balanced advice to her clients.
Recent cases:
- Obtained £57,000 for a client who injured his back at work
- Obtained £17,500 for a pedestrian involved in a "hit and run" road traffic accident.
- Obtained £28,000 for a client who suffered a crush injury to his hand whilst working as a labourer on a building site.
Rachel volunteers at Bristol Citizens Advice Bureau providing free legal advice to members of the public.
