Nye is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in the Medical Accident Team and has been
with Metcalfes since 2004. Nye assists Angelina Rigby in many of the Department's complex and high value cases but
also has an expanding case load of his own.
Recent cases include; contraction and mismanagement of MRSA, injuries sustained in
laparoscopic procedures, delay in diagnosis and subsequent mistreatment of bowel
cancer, and misprescription of medicines. He also has experience in Fatal Accident
Act claims as well as Human Rights issues arising out of a hospital's failure to uphold
a patient's right to life.
