Nye is a trainee Legal Executive in the Clinical Negligence Department and has been
with Metcalfes since 2004. He has experience in a wide range of Claimant Personal
Injury claims but with particular interest in stress at work litigation. His practice
is now, however, largely in Clinical Negligence.
Recent cases include; contraction and mismanagement of MRSA, injuries sustained in
laparoscopic procedures, delay in diagnosis and subsequent mistreatment of bowel
cancer, and misprescription of medicines. He also has experience in Fatal Accident
Act claims as well as Human Rights issues arising out of hospital's failure to uphold
a patient's right to life.
Nye assists Angelina in many of the Department's complex and high value cases but
also has an expanding case load of his own.
