Laura joined Metcalfes in 2011 as a solicitor in our personal injury department.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Laura gained both Claimant and Defendant experience
practicing in civil litigation as a paralegal for 3 years before concentrating solely
on personal injury claims. During this time Laura had a varied caseload of Breach
of Contract, Misrepresentation, and Sale of Goods Act claims.
Since specialising in personal injury, Laura has particular experience in dealing
with accidents at work pursuing claims on behalf of trade union members,
acting for insurers and individuals in road traffic accident and defective premises claims.
Laura currently runs a varied caseload of personal injury claims and also assists
senior members of the department with accidents involving serious injuries.
