Kay is the head of our Accident Claims Department. She qualified in 1982 and has many years'
experience of handling claims for accident victims, particularly those with
head and back injuries and for the families of those fatally injured. Kay is a past
President of the Bristol Medico-Legal Society having previously held the post
of Legal Secretary for nearly 10 years. She is a member of APIL* and the Law Society
Personal Injury Panel. Kay has particular expertise in product liability cases
including successful claims against Dunlop (concerning their flawed SP4 tyres)
and Ford (concerning their Explorer). Chambers & Partners 2012 Edition has praised Kay
for being "reliable" and the fact that she "gives a lot of care and support to
injured people in a vulnerable point in their lives".
