Before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1992, Jane worked in the cardiology department at a large teaching hospital.
Jane was a partner in a London firm before returning to her home town of Cardiff in
2002 where she was Head of the Clinical Negligence team at a large practice until she jointed Metcalfes in 2011.
She is accredited as a senior litigator with APIL and is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.
Jane has a wide ranging practice and has acted for clients in all types of cases.
In 2010 she achieved settlement of £6.5 million for a child injured at birth.
Jane is ranked highly in both the Legal 500 and the Chambers and Partners Directory,
where she is rated as "immensely experienced and very good with clients", having "an
excellent understanding of medical issues" and being "thoughtful and persistent".
