Andrew joined Metcalfes in August 2011. He was called to the Bar in 2004
and qualified as a solicitor in February 2011. Andrew has experience representing
both Claimants and Defendants with 5 years previous experience in Defendant litigation.
During this time he acted on behalf of such well known insurers as Aviva, AXA and NFU.
Andrew also has experience representing individual Defendants in the Magistrates' Court
in respect of prosecutions for summary road traffic offences.
Andrew now exclusively works in personal injury claims on behalf of Claimants, and
his range of experience includes injuries caused in the workplace, accidents caused
by occupiers, public liability claims and road traffic accidents. Andrew also has
experience pursuing claims where injury has been caused by faulty products and defective premises.
Andrew is committed to providing a comprehensive service to his clients, making what
can be a stressful experience for individuals into a smooth process by providing clear
and concise advice in plain English. Andrew has strong links with experienced local
barristers and works with them where necessary to obtain the best possible outcome for clients.
Andrew is a member of The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn and the Bristol Law
Society. He is also involved in the Bristol Junior Lawyers Division.
