Trust Sued Over Wrongful Birth
A claim is being presented against a Trust for the failure to identify a child's disabilities during his mother's pregnancy and the Trust in question have already paid £500,000.00 in interim payments. The Claimant's mother was never given the option of ending the pregnancy because the hospital never discovered the health issues before the child's birth, despite the father suffering from heart problems and a family history of spina bifida.
