Charity
Metcalfes' chosen charity this year is Huntington's Disease Association. The Huntington's Disease Association (HDA) is a UK registered charity which supports people affected by Huntington's disease. We are taking part in a number of fund raising activities to raise money for the charity, details of which will appear here.
Forthcoming Events
24th November 2011 - We will be holding a quiz at Frenchay Cricket Club. The entry fee is £20 per team and the event will begin at 6pm. For more information or to enter a team please contact David Baynton.
Past Events
On 6th October 2011 we held a swap shop which raised over £400 for HDA.
On 20th June 2011 we concluded the fundraising year with a charity football tournement which was held at Frenchay Cricket Club. The event raised over £1000 for Abreast. You can read an article about the event from the Bristol Evening Post by clicking on this link.
The Queen Square Association (in association with Grayling) held a fundraising quiz on 31st January 2011 which raised £711 for Leonard Cheshire Disability. Metcalfes' team "Royale with Cheese" won the trophy.
On 22nd November 2010 we held a Wine Tasting Evening.
On 21st October 2010 we held a Quiz at Frenchay Cricket Club which raised just over £1000 for Abreast.

On 24th June 2010 we concluded the fundraising year by holding a Football Tournament at Frenchay Cricket Club in aid of Abreast which raised over £1000. Click here for article.
On 12th May 2010 we held a "Swap Shop" in aid of Abreast whaich raised £450.
On 24th February 2010 we held a Wine Tasting event which raised £445 in aid of Abreast.
Our 2009 Christmas and New Year raffle raised £455 for Abreast.
On 25th November 2009 we held a "Swap Shop" in aid of Abreast which raised £560.19.
Last years fundraising for The British Heart Foundation raised £3719 which went towards buying defibrillators. Click here for article.
On 12th November 2009 we held a quiz night in aid of Abreast which raised £1054.
On 27th September 2009 we had a pitch at a car boot sale in Bradley Stoke. The stall raised £175 for Abreast.
